About Rod Nunnelee - I am a licensed real estate Broker Associate with Steve Owen & Associates in Brevard, North Carolina. I graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University and have enjoyed highly successful careers in sales and marketing with The Upjohn Company and the Bayer Healthcare Corporation. Additionally I am a retired Commander of the U.S. Naval Reserve with over 21 years of service.  My wife and I live outside of Brevard and enjoy three daughters and two grandsons.

My local involvement includes many civic activities including membership in:
The Brevard Chamber of Commerce
The Pisgah Forest Rotary Club
The 2004-5 Brevard Vision Group
The Brevard Davidson River Presbyterian Church

I also enjoy golf, fly fishing, hiking, church choral and barbershop quartet singing,  and assisting with ongoing projects of the Transylvania County Arts Council.

About Sharon Nunnelee – Prior to joining Steve Owen & Associates as a licensed Broker/Realtor, I served as executive director for the county’s arts connection – the Transylvania County Arts Council. My background and business experience lie in the corporate sector of healthcare and non-profits; in particular, organization and planning, and special events management.

Community activities include:

Transylvania County Arts Council and its artists’ cooperative, Number 7 Arts

I also enjoy golf, horseback riding, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Rod and I have three rescue pets -- two cats and a dog.
